Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences is a public sector research and engineering university with an enrollment o over 4600 students in 38 programs of studies. BUITEMS seeks services of professionals for the following (Regular/ Contract) positions who can contribute to education and research programs of the university:

Director Planning and Projects
Managing operations of development projects and preparation of development and maintenance budgets.
Co-ordination with donor agencies, Ministry/ Division for approval of schemes and release of funds.
Administrative works & co-ordination with teaching & non-teaching departments relevant to infrastructure development & planning of the University.
Managing the use of project funds, procurement of non-academic services.
Managing over all maintenance of university. Supervision over all maintenance of university, Projects & Maintenance Sections.
Perform any other duties related to the smooth implementation of Development Schemes of the University.

Skills and Specific Knowledge requirements
Demonstrated capacity in strategic and operational planning.
Understanding of issue, challenges and opportunities for planning, development infrastructure, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building.
Knowledge of public and private sector rules and regulations with regard to planning and development
Hands on experience of preparation of PC-1st PC- IVs, Projects Proposals, Budgeting and estimation.
An entrepreneurial spirit that will seek for new and creative ways to expand and improve infrastructure development, monitoring and evaluation, planning and maintenance of the University.
Proficiency in MS Office, and related advanced computer applications.
Excellent communication and public relations skills.

Required Minimum Qualification and Experience
M.E or BE or equivalent from HEC accredited institute / university.
7 years experience in relevant field including in case of B.E, 5 years experience in relevant field in case of ME.
Demonstrated experience in preparation of PC-1st and PC-IVs Project Proposals writings, Budgeting and estimation in public and private sectors.
Training in relevant field, monitoring and evaluation,
Strategic Communication or MIS desirable.

Test/Interview will be held at BUITEMS Quetta and No TA/DA is admissible.
