Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences is a public sector research and engineering university with an enrollment o over 4600 students in 38 programs of studies. BUITEMS seeks services of professionals for the following (Regular/ Contract) positions who can contribute to education and research programs of the university:
Director Quality Enhancement & Accreditation
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Develops quality assurance processes and methods of evaluation to affirm that the quality of provision and the standard of awards are being maintained and to foster curriculum, subject and staff development together with research and other scholarly activities
Ensures certain quality standards in all aspects of University services and meeting accreditation standards.
Ensures that the university’s quality assurance procedures are designed to fit in with the arrangements in place nationally for maintaining and improving the quality of Higher Education
Designs and leads a focused course of action to instill critical thinking skills within the University with regards to quality procedures. This includes working closely with the faculty of all disciplines and the administration of the University to ensure that critical thinking skills are an integral component of University’s academic and administrative activities.
Plans, co-ordinates and follows up on the accreditation of different programs of studies of the university.
Assists the departments to set out the attributes and abilities required by the university for the award of Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Degrees
Skills and Specific Knowledge requirements

Demonstrated expertise in building effective relationships at all organizational levels.
Proven assessment skills in order to determine the critical organizational capabilities that the University needs in order to execute its future growth plans
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and professional speaking skills.
Skilled in analysis and assessment, including specific experience in assessing curricula, program effectiveness with strong financial comprehension.
Proficiency in MS Office
Provides team building activates and facilitates meetings as requested Implements and continues to refine internal quality monitoring systems.
Required Minimum Qualification and Experience

Preferably PhD/Masters (1st Class) in any relevant from a recognized university/ institution of higher education.
The candidate must have a clear vision and depth of knowledge in the field of Quality Assurance and Higher Education.
Candidate must have experience of minimum five years out of which minimum two years should be in the relevant field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essentials.
Strong analytical and writing skills are prerequisites for this vacancy.
Experience in quality assurance and quality management will be preferred.

Experience Certificates as per CV must be attached with application.
Candidate already in service must apply through proper channel and required to attach No Objection Certificate with application.
The competent authority reserves right to cancel any or all of the above positions.
Test/Interview will be held at BUITEMS Quetta and No TA/DA is admissible.
